Professor Redouane Mrabet is a leading figure in Morocco’s academic sphere, combining pedagogical innovation, institutional leadership, and applied research.
A State Engineer graduate of the Mohammadia School of Engineers with a Doctorate in Communication Networks, he has held key academic positions including Director of ENSIAS, President of Mohammed V University – Souissi, and currently President of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, driving modernization, digital transformation, and territorial development.
An active researcher, Professor Mrabet focuses on communication networks, educational technologies, and cybersecurity, and supervises young scholars while contributing to international projects.
His influence extends beyond academia through participation in national and international higher education governance bodies, chairing the Moroccan chapter of the Internet Society, and serving as Vice President of the Esprit de Fès Foundation.
On the Foundation’s Executive Committee, he provides strategic guidance on university governance, education policy, and transformative projects, strengthening partnerships, applied research, and innovation across Morocco and Africa.
