Jamal Belahrach, born in 1962, is a leading figure in Morocco’s socio-educational ecosystem, combining institutional leadership, civic engagement, and editorial influence. Trained in business management with an executive specialization from HEC Paris, he has served as CEO of Manpower Morocco and internationally, led HR at the OCP Group, and headed the Zakoura Foundation for rural preschool education.
He currently chairs Deo Conseil International and the Maison de la Diaspora Marocaine, and serves on the Higher Council for Education, Training and Scientific Research, as well as various national and international institutions including CGEM, ILO, and Jobs for Africa Foundation.
Author of Toujours envie de Maroc, malgré tout, he received the Gold Medal of Philanthropic Merit (2024) for his civic and educational contributions.
On the Foundation’s Executive Committee, Belahrach brings expertise in educational governance, social inclusion, and talent development, strengthening connections between education, employability, the diaspora, and territorial development.
